OPI XOXO collection

It's that time of year when all the Christmas polishes start coming out, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on this adorable mini kit with all the OPI XOXO collection in it. 

In case you're interested in this kit, it comes with 25 minis - 12 XOXO and 13 classic shades and is $89.95.

The XOXO collection is 12 shades with lots of gorgeous shimmery colours, and a couple of holos which I am SO excited about! The formula is great as always, the darker colours I have done 2 coats and the lighter colours I did 3 to make sure they were nice and opaque, but you can probably get away with less. 

Coalmates
A dark grey filled with loads of silver shimmer. It also apparently has some holo in it, but it's almost impossible to see. Great formula and only needed 2 coats.

Ornament to Be Together
A silver with holo flakes through it. The holo is very subtle but the silver is super shiny so it looks totally gorgous inside and outside. It is quite sheer though so it took a good 3 coats. This is my must have pick from the collection. 

Feel the Chemis-tree
A dark purple with a purpley gold shimmer to it. This would be my second pick of the collection. 2 coats here. 

Snow Glad I Met You
This is a shimmer frost colour which surprisingly had a better formula than I expected for a colour like this. 3 coats for full opacity and a little streaky but nothing over noticeable.

Holidazed Over You
A black creme, leaning slightly on the blue side. 2 coats. 

Wanna Wrap
A black-burgundy. It's black in the shade but you can see the colour in it in the sun. 2 coats. 

Top the Package with a Beau
A black base filled with gold flakes. 2 coats needed. This is another standout from the collection. A good dark colour that's a bit different.

My Wish List is You
A classic bright red. 2 coats and it dries very shiny. 

Gift of Gold Never Gets Old
Pale shimmery gold. I love this colour but it is super duper streaky. 2 coats. 

Sending You Holiday Hugs
A deep red with gold shimmer. Super pretty and classy. 2 coats.

The Color That Keeps On Giving
Another pale shimmer - a baby pink that needs 3 coats. Very pretty!

Adam said "It;s New Year's Eve"
Another red creme. A slightly darker shade than My Wishlist Is You, but very similar formula. 2 coats.
